St. Linnick Golden Retrievers was granted its Kennel Club name on the 14th. of May 2010. following the birth of St. Linnick Guinevere’s first litter in the March of 2010.
I don’t think there has ever been a time when there has not been a Golden Retriever in my life and at the moment there are five!
It was very important to me that the dog who was to Sire Guinevere and Tansy’s latest puppies had a good hip score as she had been tested previously and returned a result of 12 (well below the mean score for the breed which is at present18)
Charlie the prospective sire we went to see had a score of 9 (5/4) and we decided there and then that he was the Boy for the job. Together with his hip score, pale coat and handsome looks we were sure that the resulting puppies would be gorgeous.
It was quite a thrill for me watching my best girls give birth to their litters of chunky little bundles of fun.
If you are interested in owning one of our Pedigree Puppies why not add your name to our waiting list
When we had Merlin back in 2003 we decided that if we had more dogs we would keep up the tradition of naming them after characters in Arthurian legend. We have carried on that tradition when naming our puppies (If you hadn't guessed!)
St Linnicks Lady
Morgan is the progeny of Rio and Guinevere. She is a very pretty little puppy and was our choice from our first litter. She is a very loving little girl but with enough character to be a little naughty sometimes..
Stealing the clean washing is her favorite prank at the moment!
She has now grown into the most adorable girl so why not take a look at Morgan's own page to see what she is like now?
Many Years ago I had a Golden Retriever named Shane. He was a handsome boy but he was struck down with blindness in his early years. His successor was called Kim yet another beautiful animal but again in his early years he was struck down with immobility in his rear quarters due to Developmental Canine Hip Dysplasia.
It is, therefore, that St. Linnick Golden Retrievers feels duty bound to breed only from healthy animals which have been hip scored .
This is new boy Arthur. It is intended that Arthur will become our future stud dog. For more information about him go to Our Boys Page.
